I’ve been a driving instructor since 2003, teaching in and around London, and before moving to the Isle of Wight in 2016, I achieved the QEF standard for teaching people with disabilities, including neurodiversity and now teach in an automatic car that can be adapted for you with the latest technology to assist you if you require the use of: –
• A steering ball.
• Remote secondary controls (Lodgeson).
• A left foot accelerator.
• An electronic handbrake.
My qualifications also include deaf awareness instruction for those who have hearing impairments and can lip read.
Helping people, with disabilities, to DriveSafe has been the most rewarding work I have ever done.
Since moving to the Isle of Wight I have completed training for and now work with the IOW Road Safety Officer assessing older drivers who self-refer themselves to ensure that they are still driving safely.
During 2025, I began training to become a Driving Advisor for QEF Mobility Services and currently work, when required, alongside an Occupational Therapist, assessing drivers referred to QEF by the DVLA and other bodies to ensure that they are still driving with due care and attention.
Whether you are a new driver wishing to get a full driving licence or would just like some refresher lessons after not driving for a long while, please do not hesitate to contact me to have a chat about lessons and discuss your requirements including help with passing the theory test?
Please feel free to email, text or call me to chat.
